Following the approval of establishment of the School of Paramedical Sciences in 2008, paramedical fields of study were separated from the School of Medicine and the School of Paramedical Sciences started to work as an independent entity.

In the academic year 2008-2009, students were admitted to the continuous bachelor’s programs on anesthesia, medical laboratory sciences and radiology technology, and in the academic year 2009-2010 the first group of students was admitted to the non-continuous bachelor’s program on anesthesia.

After the necessary proceedings, the establishment of bachelor’s programs on health information technology and physiotherapy was also approved, and the establishment of postgraduate programs on anesthesia and radiology is under consideration.

The School of Paramedical Sciences is a leading provider of clinical diagnosis training and applied research in the diagnosis, treatment and control and prevention of diseases, and offers outstanding educational and clinical facilities.

Given the establishment, development and expansion of the fields of study offered by the School, in the coming years, we will witness the training of capable and professional human resources to respond to the health needs of the society and promote the position of the University at the provincial, national and international scales.

Training capable and responsible professionals who will be aware of up-to-date scientific issues and sensitive to public health by providing optimal and effective care to patients and providing paraclinical services.
